Hock-Aun's solo show Expanding Traditions concluded at Glasgow School of Art at the end of 2022. He is an alumnus and past tutor of this leading creative institution. He has lived in Glasgow for the majority of his adult life.
The National Art Gallery of Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur has acquired a significant triptych painting for the permanent collection. Entitled, Being Fearful of Snakes While Looking for Grasshoppers, the picture was included in Hock-Aun’s solo show at the Gallery in 2019.
