The gallery is currently working with a collector to acquire paintings by the Brazilian urban artist duo, Os Gemoes and originals by KAWS. We have purchased a number of works and are keen to buy others. We would be interested to hear from anyone who is thinking of selling.
Kendra Haste is currently working on two private client commissions - a ‘buffalo head’ destined for Monaco and a ‘barn owl’ for an estate in the south of England. Her work is also included in ‘Amazing Menageries’, an exhibition at Gainsborough Old Hall, Lincolnshire, which runs until December 2018.
Hock-Aun Teh’s solo show ‘Childhood Memories’ opens in January 2019 at the National Art Gallery of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. A graduate of Glasgow School of Art and now living in Glasgow, Teh is a son of Malaysia having been born in Taiping. In this show he uses the stories, events and happenings of his early life to inform his highly expressive, colourful, non-figurative paintings and sculpture. The exhibition catalogue will include an essay by Julian Spalding, ex-director, Glasgow Museums.
In London, the gallery is working on a significant corporate project sourcing sculpture, paintings and prints for the offices of a financial institution.
